Plantation Shutters
The classic shutter, loved for good reason.
Plantation shutters feature wide, adjustable louvres that tilt to control light and privacy with precision. Beautifully crafted and available in a wide range of painted finishes and real wood stains, they suit everything from Victorian terraces to modern new builds. We offer three configurations to suit your windows and how you like to use them:
Full Height Shutters
The most popular choice. Full height shutters cover the entire window in a single panel or pair of panels, giving a clean, symmetrical look and maximum light control. Ideal for most standard windows throughout the home.
Tier-on-Tier Shutters
Two sets of independent panels — one for the top half of the window, one for the bottom. Open the top to let light flood in while keeping the bottom closed for privacy. A particularly popular choice for rooms facing the street.
Café Style Shutters
Shutters on the lower half of the window only, leaving the top open to the sky. A classic look that’s especially well suited to bay windows and street-facing rooms where you want plenty of natural light without sacrificing ground-level privacy.
Solid Panel Shutters
Bold, characterful, and completely private.
Where plantation shutters use louvres, solid panel shutters feature flat, unbroken panels — no gaps, no light bleed, complete privacy and total blackout when closed. They have a bold, architectural quality that works beautifully in bedrooms, media rooms, or any space where you want a more dramatic look. Available in a range of painted finishes, they can be made to measure for virtually any window shape or size.
